• Free migration from other providers

  The Free Migration of accounts from another hosting provider to our servers only applies if your current service was created and is managed with cPanel and Ferozo control panels.
  If your current service does not meet this condition, we will evaluate your particular case, which may result in: free migration, chargeable migration, or migration at the user's expense. • Can I host adult content? Are there any restrictions?

  YES, you can host adult content. However, NO material or information related to pedophilia and zoophilia is allowed.

  The disclosure and/or publication of any type of information or content that incites violence, racism and persecution is also not allowed, nor is illegal material that infringes intellectual property rights or harmful software, etc.

• Is there any type of limit on sending and receiving emails?

  Each email account can send up to 100 emails per hour and each domain can send up to 200 emails per hour. Shipments that exceed these limits will be discarded and the corresponding account will be temporarily disabled from sending emails for 1 hour.

  Up to 20 recipients per shipment per email account.

  Attachment Size Limitation:

  The maximum size of attachments is 70 MB per email when sent from an email client and 50 MB from webmail.

• What is the backup policy?

  For your peace of mind, at DonWeb we perform an automatic weekly backup of all the information in your hosting account (databases/files), as long as the volume of information does not exceed 5GB. When a new backup copy is generated each week, the previous one is deleted.

  Likewise, we strongly recommend generating your own backups every time you are going to make an important change to your site. For this you have a backup creation/restoration tool in your control panel and you can even schedule automatic backups using the "Scheduled Tasks" tool in the panel (Linux platform only).

• Windows or Linux? Which platform should I choose and when can I do it?

  SUMMARY: Unless you need to use .NET, ASP or Microsoft SQL Server, we recommend choosing Linux.

  Extended explanation:

  First of all, we must point out that the web hosting platform to be purchased is related to the programming language you use for your site and NOT to the operating system you use on your computer. For example, if you use Windows on your PC you can still purchase LINUX hosting, just as if you have a MAC or a PC with Linux you can purchase WINDOWS hosting.

  In general, the Linux Platform covers most use cases and is the most recommended if you are going to use languages like HTML, PHP and technologies like MySQL, Ajax or FLASH. Unless you use ASP.NET, ASP, SQL Server or Access DB in the development of your site, Linux is the best option.

  If your idea is to take advantage of Open Source applications like WordPress, Joomla, OsCommerce, etc. Linux is ideal.

  Now, if you are not the one developing the website, we suggest contacting your developer so they can tell you which platform you should purchase.

  Either way, you can now purchase the plan on the Linux Platform with the peace of mind of having 10 days to change it at no charge.

  With the purchase of your Web Hosting Entrepreneur Plan or Business Plan for a period of 1 year or more, you get a free domain (.STORE, .ONLINE, .SITE, .WEBSITE or .UNO) for one year, which you must register once you have acquired the plan from your Client Area. Not included for the Personal Plan.
