Are there different types of IP?

There are public or private IPs:

The public IP is that of our home router. And it is the way agents have to identify our network from the outside, meaning it is visible from the outside. On the other hand, the private IP address is the one that identifies each of the devices connected to our internet network, such as: mobile phone, laptop, tablet, computer, etc.

Can I change my IP?

It is very simple to change it, since most of the time the assigned IP is dynamic, meaning that by simply restarting your modem or router you will be able to modify your IP.

In any case, if after performing this process you can't manage to modify your IP, you can try opening a command prompt window with administrator permissions and running the command ipconfig/release. Once entered there, you must type the command ipconfig/renew and then press Enter to complete the process of modifying your IP.

This can be very useful, since for security reasons, some portals tend to block IPs to protect you from possible hackers or users with bad intentions.
