DattaRadio is DonWeb.com's audio streaming service. It will allow you to transmit any audio source (both recorded and live) to your listeners, through the internet and in a simple and transparent way.
Your PC/Mac/Linux (Broadcaster) will be in charge of sending the audio to DonWeb.com's streaming servers and these, in turn, have the appropriate software to distribute the audio among the listeners connected at that moment. This entire process is carried out practically in real time, that is, listeners will hear what you are transmitting just as they would with a conventional radio.

DonWeb.com, is not responsible for the content of the transmission and warns about its legal nature, not allowing the transmission of content that violates the various Intellectual Property laws.
There are two broadcast modes: Live and AutoDJ.
"Live" mode
You can transmit in real time the audio you are playing on the "Broadcaster" PC/Mac/Linux or also the one entering from external sources through the audio input (LineIn or MIC), e.g.: microphones, mixing consoles, audio equipment, etc.
"AutoDJ" mode
The transmission is carried out directly from the streaming servers with the MP3 audio files that you can upload via FTP or from the Control Panel. The AutoDJ system allows you to create schedulable playlists by dragging and dropping your files. Then, the system will play these lists automatically and without the need for a "Broadcaster" PC/Mac/Linux. Among the playlist playback options you have: random, by popularity and sequential.
NOTE: You can change the broadcast mode at any time.
In "Live" mode you only need a "Broadcaster" PC/Mac/Linux with audio input (LineIn) and Internet connection (minimum recommended upload: 128 kbps). You will also need to install a couple of simple and free applications that will allow you to send the audio to the streaming servers.
In "AutoDJ" mode you simply have to upload your MP3 audio files to the streaming servers with any FTP client or from the control panel itself. Then, you will need to create and schedule the playlists as you like.
Nowadays there are already many devices that have compatible audio players to listen to internet radio stations. Listeners will be able to listen to the transmission through any device connected to the internet with an application that works as an audio player.

To listen, the listener must click on a link that you will publish on your site or enter the URL, which you will provide, in a compatible audio player.
You can broadcast with a quality of up to 128kbps. We recommend taking into account the type of connection that the listeners you want to reach will have. If the quality is too high and listener connectivity is limited, they will not be able to hear you correctly.
It is also necessary to take into account the upload speed of your Internet connection. Check the following table to see if the upload connectivity of your "Broadcaster" PC/Mac/Linux meets the requirements of the quality you want to transmit at.

Listeners connect to your radio on a first-come, first-served basis. If a visitor connects at a moment when the number of contracted listeners is covered, they will remain in a waiting queue (unable to connect) until one of those currently connected disconnects.
At any time you can upgrade your plan to one with a greater number of listeners from your Client Area. If you need more than 500 listeners, contact us because we have solutions for you.
